We (the developer of CatFocus, "we", "us") take your privacy seriously. This policy explains how CatFocus ("the App") handles your information. Please read carefully before using the App.

1. Core Principle

CatFocus is a local-first focus app. We operate no servers, collect no usage data, perform no behavioral tracking, and share no information with any third party. All data is stored only on your device.

2. Information We Process

2.1 Data Stored Locally on Your Device Only

The following data is stored on-device using Apple's sandboxed storage. It never leaves your device:

Storage location: SwiftData and UserDefaults provided by iOS, sandbox-protected, accessible only to this App.

2.2 What We Do Not Collect

❌ We do not collect location, IP address, IDFA, IDFV, or any device identifiers
❌ We do not access your contacts, photos, microphone, or camera
❌ We do not upload your focus records to any server
❌ We do not use any third-party analytics, advertising, or tracking SDKs

2.3 Sensor Data — Used Locally, Never Uploaded

Device motion (CoreMotion): Used solely for subtle visual effects on the glass UI (gyroscope-driven highlights). Data is computed in memory in real time, never stored, never uploaded.

2.4 Local Network Communication

The App offers a "Web Sync" feature that lets your computer view and control your focus session over the same WiFi. Data stays within your local network:
